Frequently asked questions
Shopify or a custom e-commerce site?
If you sell products with a classic catalogue, Shopify is almost always enough and costs less. Custom makes sense when the rules are yours: calculated prices, configurable products, different price lists, connections with management software. We tell you before we start.
Can I add products myself?
Yes. On Shopify from its dashboard; on a custom store from the dashboard we build for it, with the fields you need.
How much are fees and subscriptions?
The Shopify subscription and payment fees are paid directly to Shopify and Stripe, at their rates. They are not included in our price and we don’t mark them up.
Do I see it first and pay later for e-commerce too?
For custom projects we start from a prototype: you see it, try it, and only then do we agree on features, timing and quote. The prototype is not yet the complete store.
I already have an online store built by someone else.
We can take it over after a technical review for €90. For Shopify stores there is Care Shop at €45 a month.
